East Jefferson General Hospital (EJGH) has once again been rated No. 1 in overall hospital care as well as patient safety in New Orleans, garnering its highest possible ranking, a “check plus plus” status, by 2017 CareChex quality rating system.

“We are proud to once again be the top hospital in the region,” said Dr. Mark Peters, EJGH President, and CEO. “It takes an entire team to c sustain this type of continued excellence and we have proven our team is second to none. This recognition is an acknowledgment that we are reaching our benchmarks in providing excellent and trustworthy care to the community.”
