Blue Cross of Louisiana Recognizes EJGH Physicians as Top Performers

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, along with the World Hypertension League, this week recognized 11 East Jefferson General Hospital (EJGH) primary care physicians who have 70 percent or more of their patients at goal for health quality measures to treat high blood pressure.
These physicians are part of Quality Blue Primary Care, Blue Cross’ program for patient-focused care that leads to better health results for customers.
This year’s EJGH recipients are:
- Dr. Lisa Casey
- Dr. Chuck Cucchiara
- Dr. Lindsay Ford
- Dr. Nicole Giambrone
- Dr. David Klibert
- Dr. Robert McCord
- Dr. Brian Naccari
- Dr. Robert Pollock
- Dr. Robert Ryan
- Dr. Lenito Sinay
- Dr. Ka Yan Tong
During the awards ceremony held in Baton Rouge this past week, Blue Cross also named the four clinics with the highest scores on Quality Blue’s clinical quality measures for the four targeted chronic conditions.
East Jefferson General Hospital walked away with two out of the four major awards including:
- Highest Achievement in Diabetes Care 2017: East Jefferson Internal Medicine
- Highest Achievement in Hypertension Care 2017: East Jefferson Primary Care
