Meet Our Executive Leadership Team
Dr. Christopher Lege, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Christopher Lege serves as Touro’s President and Chief Executive Officer. As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Lege has been in practice at Touro for more than 20 years. He previously served as Chief Medical Officer for Touro for four years before being named Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Lege served as a Primary Care Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer for Crescent City Physicians, as well as Physician Chair of LCMC Health's Primary Care service line. After earning his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Dr. Lege completed his residency at Tulane Medical Center. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Stephen Baldwin, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Stephen Baldwin serves as Touro’s Chief Operating Officer. He is an accomplished Healthcare Executive with a wide range of experience in multiple service lines and hospital operations. Stephen joined Touro in 2014 and oversees key service lines for the hospital including Surgery, Cardiology, Oncology, and Radiology. In addition to hospital services and operations, he manages Touro’s retirement and skilled nursing facility, Woldenberg Village. Prior to his tenure at Touro, Stephen held numerous senior leadership positions at Tulane Medical Center where he worked for over 14 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University and a Masters in Health Administration from Tulane University.
My 'little something extra' is: I avoid meetings.
Candace Robinson, MD, Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Dr. Robinson brings over fifteen years of medical experience and over nine years of healthcare leadership experience to her role as Chief Medical Officer of Touro. She served as Chief Medical Officer at New Orleans East Hospital (NOEH) from 2019-2024 after serving as Medical Director of NOEH’s Emergency Department for over seven years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University and her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in emergency medicine with Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Robinson is Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
My 'little something extra' is: being an avid baseball/softball mom.
Quanna Batiste, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
Quanna Batiste, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, serves as Touro’s new Chief Nursing Officer, overseeing nursing and patient care services for more than 800 nurses. A native of New Orleans, Dr. Batiste began her career at Ochsner Health, dedicating over a decade to the organization and eventually serving as Director of Ambulatory Nursing. In 2013, she joined UCLA Health in California, where she most recently served as Chief Nursing Officer and adjunct Associate Professor at the UCLA School of Nursing. Dr. Batiste earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Loyola University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University. Board-certified as an Advanced Nurse Executive, she is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.

Chad Miller, Chief Financial Officer
Chad joined us as our new Chief Financial Officer with a distinguished career in the healthcare industry. As the Chief Financial Officer of Touro he brings a wealth of experience to the organization's financial management. Chad's journey began after graduating from The University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in accounting. He further solidified his credentials by becoming a Certified Public Accountant, demonstrating his commitment to excellence in financial practices. Prior to his current role, Chad held key leadership positions at prominent healthcare organizations. Notably, he served as a Chief Financial Officer with Health Management Associates, where he focused on financial oversight and strategy. With his keen financial acumen, he successfully navigated the complexities of the healthcare industry, addressing regulatory changes and optimizing financial performance. With a proven track record of financial leadership and a commitment to excellence, Chad exemplifies the qualities of a successful Chief Financial Officer. His expertise, combined with his passion for healthcare, positions him as a trusted leader in the industry.
Dean Roy, Vice President of Physician Services

As Vice President of Physician Services, Dean Roy’s primary role consists of providing strategic and operational leadership to the Physician Clinics, while working with the rest of the executive team to develop partnerships to further the mission of the hospital. Prior to being promoted to this position, Dean led several areas of the organization including Decision Support, Marketing and several outpatient departments. Dean received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and his Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Leadership from Yale University.
