Our amazing agers program
At Touro Heart Care, we believe in helping our patients plan for their future health, one positive decision at a time. Our Amazing Agers program helps seniors take care of their health, so they can enjoy their golden years free from hospital stays and heart and lung conditions. The program includes health education opportunities, screenings, newsletters and literature, wellness programs, support groups, and a comprehensive VIP program.
Financial assistance for heart and lung procedures
We provide comprehensive medical care at our facility. Offering a sensible, fair payment plan is part of our philosophy of patient-centered treatment. We believe everyone has the right to a healthy and happy life, regardless of their ability to pay for a procedure. Touro Heart Care’s financial assistance policy is useful for patients who are uninsured, underinsured, or don’t qualify for one of the government programs, such as Medicare or Medicaid. You can ask our financial department whether you qualify. We will be glad to give you the answers you need.
Spiritual and pastoral assistance during trying times
For religious patients, spirituality is a powerful component of the healing process. Touro has Catholic priests and Unitarian ministers on staff who can provide religious guidance throughout the surgical and post-surgical processes. They can answer common questions about a patient’s relationship with God, guide ethical dilemmas, and more. We also have a chapel available 24/7.

If you have a relative or family member heading for an extended hospital stay, you will want to stay nearby. Fortunately, Touro is near world-class hotels, which will keep you comfortable. At the same time, you provide invaluable support to your family member as they undergo surgery and recover from the procedure.
