“ Touro is such a big part of the community. I'm proud to say I was born at a hospital that makes such an impact on so many lives.”

Do you (or your family member that was born at Touro) have any current connections to New Orleans?

"I was born in New Orleans, raised in New Orleans, and planning to spend the rest of my life in New Orleans. There's no other city like it. One of my favorite things about New Orleans is no matter where you go, you'll always run into someone you know. There's always someone there to ask you how you're doing and offer up a hug and something to eat."

What does 100-year legacy of delivering babies mean to you?

"Touro has always been at the center of my care, from my birth all the way into adulthood. Knowing that I was born into a legacy of caring for patients, from babies all the way to adults, is a great feeling."

Why are you proud to be a Touro baby?

"Touro is such a big part of the community. I'm proud to say I was born at a hospital that makes such an impact on so many lives."

What message would you share with future Touro babies or Touro moms?

"Life is good! Enjoy everything, big and small. There's always a reason to celebrate!"
