Our legacy of life: Tulane Transplant Institute at East Jefferson
In 1959, the first living donor kidney transplant was performed at Tulane
Hospital in New Orleans. And since then, we never stopped raising the
bar. Today, we're a leader in organ transplants in our region and as part
of the LCMC Health family, Tulane Transplant Institute at East Jefferson
is truly building a
Legacy of Life with next level transplant surgery and comprehensive treatment for patients
experiencing liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and lung failure.
With more than six decades of transplant experience, Tulane’s expertise
is unmatched, and our outcomes have consistently met national standards.
When it comes to making life better for people who’ve experienced
organ failure and transplantation, Tulane Transplant Institute at EJGH
is your team for life.
