range from midwifery programs to immersive tubs for hydrotherapy during

Pregnancies are considered high risk for a variety of reasons for the mother
or the baby. If needed, your OBGYN will refer you to LCMC Health’s
Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists. They’re highly trained to manage
high-risk pregnancies and coordinate care with your provider.
Yes, for low-risk deliveries, you can have at least one support person
in the room with you. Be sure to discuss your plan for support during
delivery with your provider. And when you tour the hospital, ask about
restrictions for visitors during and after delivery.
